Parish Pastoral Council

OVERVIEW:

The parish Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners that meets monthly with the Pastor to discuss the heart and soul matters of the parish.

Our purpose is to be consultative to the Pastor on the spiritual life of the parish and support him in his role as shepherd of the parish, encourage full participation of parishioners in parish life, establish priorities, goals, and objectives for the parish, and provide leadership and foster unity in the parish.

Nine members of the pastoral council are elected by the parish, each to a three-year term, in overlapping terms to ensure continuity on the council. Three more members are appointed by the pastor, each also with a three-year term, in overlapping terms.

All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend any meeting of the pastoral council, usually held on the second Monday of each month. See the parish calendar for upcoming meeting(s).
